HOW MALALA CAN DESTROY MANY BRIGHT FUTURES IN PAKISTAN:

HOW MALALA CAN DESTROY MANY BRIGHT FUTURES IN PAKISTAN:

A 23 years old Malala Yousufzai, is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate.

In her latest interview for a very known magazine named Vogue she stated that: “I still don’t understand why people have to get married. If you want to have a person in your life, why do you have to sign marriage papers, why can’t it just be a partnership?

As she is the activist for female education & always emphasize on the Pakistani girls education importance and the hurdles they have to bear to get their education she must know that her such kind of statements which are supporting the cohabitation or live-in relationship can make the situation even more worse especially for the girls. Because these relationships are against our religion and cultural laws. Girls are already facing many hurdles to get their basic rights, like education, so here you are stating why we need to marry or sign marriage papers. Our religion Islam mandatory education for both men and women but inhibits the partnership which Malala’s talking about.

We can pass over your statements by saying that it’s your life, your decision but no, you are representing Pakistan. Many girls in Pakistan are assuming you as their role model, they are dreaming to become Malala in their own life by getting education and will fight for other girls rights but you are playing with those innocent girls’ future, minds and feelings.

These statements may impact badly on Pakistani girls’ rights because no one wants their sister or daughter to move on that path which you are showing through these statements. They won’t allow girls’ education because they will be afraid if their girls will start thinking as you do, they may be killed by any extremist or her family may disown her then who will support them. Because she will be following your steps which are against our religion and culture and what if she was killed by an extremist?

Most of the people in those areas are already against girls’ education and give more priority to marriage over education because they think it’s a waste of money to give education to a girl and save that money for their dowry but now you give them another good excuse to take education right from girls.

Maybe after your statement many girls will not be allowed to continue their studies, will not be allowed to go school, will not be allowed to go abroad for their masters or any other degree. You played very well with their feelings Malala your words can destroy many futures of innocent girls just take the examples of other girls in your family, friends or the people of Swat from where you belong who know you personally, they may admire you and want their daughter or sister like you but after this they will think that uneducated girl is far more better than the well educated girl.

And your efforts to support girls’ education especially in Pakistan will be a waste and nothing, and you know very well how important marriage is in Pakistan.

Now parents will be afraid that their daughters will become like you if they get education and will not support the girls’ education. Your statement shows that you are promoting vulgarity but not the importance of education.

Maybe some of the females which are spreading vulgarity in the name of feminism or rights of women in Pakistan will be appreciate your these kind of statements but remember they also gain hate even from the other women from Pakistan because spreading vulgarity and freedom (like having relationships without marriage) is not our culture no one will support it. I think you all are planning to destroy the culture of Pakistan and come up with new ideas every time.
